Filipino music is alive in this age of millenials ! And the 9-piece band called Ben&Ben is one of the rising stars spearheading today's OPM scene. Few months ago, I came across their music video of Maybe The Night on YouTube. That was life-changing! Before that, I've only ever heard one song from them. It's called Bibingka , a love song that was part of a Spotify Playlist for Pinoy Christmas songs. Back then, I didn't bother to look them up. While Bibingka was a good song with some catchy lines, it didn't strike that much appeal on me. But after watching their music videos and listening to their other tracks in Spotify ( Kathang Isip , Leaves , and Ride Home , to name some), I've completely fallen in love with them... seriously! Maybe The Night gave me a severe case of LSS. The lyrics were well-written and I can tell they came from a brain of pure talent and a heart of pure love.
